GET INVOLVED

Host Families & Local Coordinators

Two important ways to support international students in their local communities.

01

Become a Host Family

New Horizon Global Education is always looking for warm and welcoming families to host our students. Your family will welcome a new member into daily life, experience another culture and receive a stipend covering the associated cost of hosting.

Host families must provide a safe and welcoming environment; be interested in cultural exchange; offer a clean private bedroom with a bed, chair, desk and adequate lighting; provide school transportation when a bus is unavailable; provide breakfast and dinner on weekdays and three meals on weekends; and communicate actively with the school.
